“About Rebecca,” an excerpt from my in-progress memoir A Woman Chasing Water, received Honorable Mention in the 2013 New Millennium Writings nonfiction award competition.  “About Rebecca” is, well, about Rebecca, who has a definitive role in A Woman Chasing Water, a tale of a woman running from danger and headlong into it, sometimes by chance, more often by choice, Rebecca often at her side.
